Melissa Goldstein, MS, CCC-SLP, TSSLD, LSVT-C, WDP, COM™ is a licensed and certified Speech-Language Pathologist and Orofacial Myologist in Long Island, NY. Her private practice is dedicated to the evaluation and treatment of speech, reading and orofacial myofunctional disorders in children and adults. She is a founding partner of the Pediatric and Adult Airway Network of New York (PAANY), where airway-focused professionals work collaboratively to treat patients with orofacial myofunctional disorders, sleep-disordered breathing, and tethered oral tissues.
In addition, Melissa is a tenured Speech Evaluator for the New York City Department of Education. She is a strong literacy advocate in the public school system and a certified Wilson Dyslexia Practitioner (WDP).
Melissa served as a Senior Speech Pathologist and graduate student supervisor at New York Neurogenic Speech-Language Pathology from 2009 to 2016. She has extensive experience treating individuals with neurogenic communication disorders, including dysarthria and aphasia. Melissa is an LSVT LOUD® certified therapist and Guardian NMES® certified therapist.
Melissa earned a Bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Delaware and a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Hunter College. She is an active member of ASHA and IAOM, and has earned ACE awards for continuing her education.
