Linda Dionne Marcoux RN, BScN, IBCLC, RLC
Linda graduated from a Nursing Diploma program down east (Cegep de Matane, Matane, Quebec, 1977-1980), came to Alberta for work and for the past 38 years held various nursing positions. She started to work in Public Health in 1998 as she was completing her Post-RN Degree (1999) from University of Alberta/ Grande Prairie Regional College collaborative program. Particularly interested in prenatal care and passionate about breastfeeding, she obtained her IBCLC designation in 2005. She currently works full-time in McLennan Public Health Services and provide assistance and breastfeeding consultations to new mothers. She volunteers on various committees in her rural community. Linda and her husband live on a farm south of McLennan, they have 2 adult daughters who were breastfed (the oldest was lip-tie).
