Adams Dental
We incorporate “big picture” thinking and solutions when we look at a patient. Something as common as crowded teeth may have multiple underlying causes like mouth breathing, allergies, or large tonsils. What we used to think was the problem (crowded teeth) is really a sign of a bigger problem. And by peeling away the layers we work to discover and treat the cause, instead of worrying about the problem. We start with young patients to design plans that take into consideration growth and development because we know how important proper facial growth is to overall health. Additionally, we work with teenagers and adults who have oromotor disorders that may be leading to open bite, sleep disordered breathing or obstructive sleep apnea.
We know that we can’t do it alone so we work with like minded practitioners. Our two myofunctional therapists on staff, Jackie and Danielle, work closely with Dr. Adams. They help patients understanding with what oromotor disorder is, and more importantly, how to eliminate it through regular myofunctional exercise.
