MyofunctionalTherapist.com, operated by Myo Web Design Inc. (“we,” “us,” or “our”), provides the MyoBooking online appointment-booking service for providers listed on MyofunctionalTherapist.com.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, protect, and share information when you use MyoBooking, including when you connect your Google Calendar to MyoBooking.
Information We Collect
Depending on how you use MyoBooking, we may collect information such as:

- Provider profile information
- Appointment and scheduling information
- Availability and calendar information
- Information submitted through booking forms
- Information necessary to provide and support MyoBooking
Google Calendar Information
MyoBooking allows providers to connect their Google Calendar to help manage appointment availability and prevent scheduling conflicts.
When you connect Google Calendar, MyoBooking may access:
- Your Google account email address to identify the connected account
- Calendar information necessary to determine when you are unavailable
- Calendar event information necessary to identify scheduling conflicts
- Permission to create and manage MyoBooking appointment events on the calendar you select
MyoBooking uses this information solely to provide calendar synchronization and scheduling functionality.
MyoBooking does not use Google Calendar information for advertising, targeted advertising, or marketing.
MyoBooking does not sell Google Calendar information or provide it to data brokers or information resellers.
MyoBooking does not use Google Calendar information to create, train, or improve artificial intelligence or machine-learning models.
Use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Calendar Appointment Information
To help protect privacy, appointments created by MyoBooking on a connected external calendar are designed to contain only the information necessary for scheduling.
A MyoBooking calendar event may include:
- “MyoBooking Appointment” as the event title
- Appointment date and time
- Appointment location, when applicable
MyoBooking does not intentionally place client names, client email addresses, clinical notes, diagnoses, or other unnecessary client information into synchronized external calendar events.
How We Use Information
We use information collected through MyoBooking to:
- Provide online appointment scheduling
- Manage provider availability
- Prevent double bookings and scheduling conflicts
- Create and update appointment calendar events
- Provide provider and client notifications
- Maintain and support the MyoBooking service
- Protect the security and integrity of the service
- Comply with applicable legal requirements
How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information or Google user data.
Information may be shared with service providers that help us operate MyoBooking, such as hosting, email, scheduling, calendar integration, security, and other technology providers. These providers may access information only as necessary to provide their services and are required to protect the information appropriately.
Google Calendar information is not transferred to third parties for advertising, data brokerage, or other unrelated purposes.
We may disclose information when required by law, legal process, or when necessary to protect the security, rights, or property of MyofunctionalTherapist.com, our users, or others.

Data Retention and Deletion

When information is no longer required, we may delete or securely dispose of it in accordance with our data retention practices.
When a provider disconnects Google Calendar from MyoBooking, MyoBooking will no longer use the Google Calendar connection to access or synchronize that calendar. Disconnecting the account does not necessarily delete appointment records already maintained within MyoBooking or calendar events that were previously created in the provider’s Google Calendar.
Providers may request deletion of their MyoBooking account and associated information by contacting us.
Your Google Account
Connecting Google Calendar is optional. You may disconnect your Google Calendar from MyoBooking at any time through the calendar settings available within your MyoBooking account.
You can also review or revoke MyoBooking’s access to your Google Account through your Google Account security settings.
MyoBooking only receives the Google information and permissions that you authorize through Google’s authorization process.
Client Information
MyoBooking may allow providers to collect and store client information submitted through appointment booking forms. This information is used to provide appointment scheduling and related services.
Providers are responsible for using client information appropriately and for complying with the privacy and other legal requirements applicable to their practice.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to MyoBooking, our services, or applicable legal requirements. The updated policy will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
