Myofunctional Therapy Of La Jolla
Suzanne has been a Registered Dental Hygienist for 20+ years , serving the La Jolla community. She is the owner a private myofunctional therapy office in La Jolla. She earned her dental hygiene degree from Palm Beach State College. She is trained in OMT in TMD, sleep apnea and Buteyko breathing. In addition she has completed training through The Breathe Institute for functional frenuolasty evaluations and therapy and TOTS (Tethered Oral Tissues) for baby’s and children. She had also completed an Airway Mini Residence program through the AMR.
Suzanne has also co-wrote an article “Note the Signs of Sleep Disordered Breathing” in Decisions in Dentistry and Dimensions in Dental Hygiene Aug/ Sept 2018.
Additionally, she has co-lectured for the La Leche League of Southern California/Nevada on Ankloglisia Throughout the Years.
Suzanne enjoys seeing both children and adults in her practice. Her therapy can help with TMJ pain, clenching and grinding, tethered tissues, headache due to facial pain, orthodontic relapse, tongue thrust, open bite, tongue rest posture and nasal breathing.
