I have been a dental hygienist in private practice since graduating from Indiana University Northwest with highest distinction in 2000. After learning about my own myofunctional disorder, I decided to become an orofacial myologist to help prevent my patients from experiencing the same effects that I had suffered. I was fortunate to be able to train with Kimberly Benkert, RDH, BSDH, MPA, COM, FAADH in her Comprehensive Level I and II courses in 2016 and began working with patients in 2017.
