Speech With Sara LLC
Sara holds her national certification, referred to as Cs, through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Sara earned her master’s degree in speech-language pathology from Eastern Michigan University and has worked with adults and children.

Most recently, Sara worked with students in Detroit Public Schools ranging in age from preschoolers through age 20. Speech-Language Pathology is a second career for Sara, who spent more than a decade as a journalist in daily newspapers and later in web-based media. Sara earned her bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Bowling Green State University.

She specializes in orofacial myofunctional disorders, speech-sound disorders, literacy and early childhood language impairments. She is Hanen Certified and trained in Lively Letters/Sight Words You Can See and Orofacial Myology.
