I am a board certified orofacial myofunctional therapist and registered dental hygienist. After years in private practice, teaching dental hygiene students, and educating special needs caregivers about oral health, I realized the impact myofunctional disorders and dysfunctional breathing have on a person. I have taken numerous courses and trainings over the years, which led to becoming a certified yoga instructor, certification in the Buteyko Breathing Method, and a Certified Orofacial Myologist (COM®) through the International Association of Orofacial Myology (IAOM). It is through my extensive experience and continued education in these areas that I feel confident in helping restore normal orofacial muscle function and healthier breathing patterns.
