Jana C. Bennett M.Ed., CCC-SLP, COM
I am originally from Arlington, Virginia but have also lived in Provo, Utah; Argentina; Charlottesville, Virginia; Lexington, Massachusetts; Harrisonburg, Virginia; and now Purcellville, Virginia in Western Loudoun County. I received my Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology in 1983 and took my first job at a hospital in the Boston area where I met my husband. We have eight children and three grandchildren. I have had the opportunity to work in a variety of settings as a speech-language pathologist including hospitals, Head Start, private practice, early intervention, and the public schools. I discovered the field of orofacial myology in early 2016 when I began researching tongue thrust for one of my own children and students on my school caseload. I am an IAOM Certified Orofacial Myologist
