Dr. Chen is our principal dentist. She took over the practice in 2007 with the goal of bringing total oral health solutions to patients in Maple Ridge. She has many years of experience working with families. Dr Chen’s previous work at a paediatric hospital makes her particularly adept in working with children – especially those who are medically compromised.

She graduated from the University of Alberta Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry with a DDS. Dr. Chen was also honored with awards in Pediatrics and Pathology (2005) from the University.

She has been professionally trained in general dentistry, modern developmental orthodontics and orthotropics, and in the treatment of occlusion, jaw and muscle disorders. She also performs periodontal surgery as well as soft tissue laser treatments and crown lengthening. She is also certified to administer treatments that ease the appearance of wrinkles and aging
