I have been working in the field of Orofacial Myology since 1994. As an active member of the IAOM I have served in various capacities within the Board of the IAOM from 2001-2015, serving as President 2007-2009 to Parliamentarian 2013-2015. Currently I am on the Board of Examiners, Mentorship Committee, and Non-Governance Committee. I serve to mentor any incoming members as well as those well established in the field. My training was in Speech Pathology and I worked in the public school system from 1974-2013. My area of expertise as an SLP was articulation with an emphasis in motor specific development of all oral structures (lips, tongue, jaw and breath support) and 2nd language development issues. Privately I have a strong thumb sucking program, Orofacial Myofunctional program, and accent reduction program.

I continue to lecture in the area of my articulation program.
