Angela Rodrigues

Angela graduated from Montclair State University with a BA in pyschology and linguistics. She graduated in 1998 from Kean University with an MA in Speech Language Pathology having received the highest honors, representing the School of Education as an honorary degree recipient. She has been providing speech and language therapy in private practice since 2000 and in the schools since 2006. Prior to private practice, she worked in early intervention and adult rehab. As a student, she interned at Kessler Institute, Sawtelle Learning Center, and various schools. She worked as an ABA tutor prior to becoming a speech therapist.
Angela has received extensive training and provides therapy using equine assisted therapy (hippotherapy), ABA, PROMPT, Kaufman and myofunctional therapy. She has experience with all disabilities incorporating sensory and oral/speech motor principles. She has experience working with AAC enhancing communication for nonverbal children. She was nominated for NJ Favorite Kids’ Doc from New Jersey Family in 2011 and was nominated for Outstanding Autism Therapist Award in 2010. She enjoys working with phonological disorders, apraxia, cognitive rehab, and communication for nonverbal children. She is the proud mother of two wonderful children
