Falls Speech Therapy
I am Amanda Oster, MS, CCC-SLP director of Falls Speech Therapy and I am so glad you are here!
The process of getting started with speech therapy can be confusing. Do I need a referal? Will my health insurance cover the costs? Can a speech therapist help me? How do I even get started? Well, I am here to help you with every step of the process.
I am a licensed speech-language pathologist (SLP) / speech therapist and I am passionate about providing speech therapy that empowers my clients and their caregivers. I have years of experience working with clients of all ages in various settings. I have a special interest in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating motor speech disorders (i.e., apraxia and dysarthria), fluency disorders (i.e., stuttering and cluttering), and orofacial myology disorders (i.e., tongue thrust).
To help treat my clients, I have received extra training in the areas of childhood apraxia of speech, stuttering, and orofacial myology. I love to continually add to my therapy “tool box” and I have been trained in the following programs and techniques: PROMPT, Nancy Kaufman’s Speech to Language Protocol (K-SLP), the Lidcombe Program, Talk Tools, the DIR-Floortime Approach, and others.
I provide client and family centered speech therapy at our office location or in the comfort of your own home. Also, some of my clients prefer e-visits or speech therapy online / telepractice.
