During her time working as a dental hygienist Allison continually encountered patients whose dental health had been affected by Myofunctional Disorders. After seeing how prevalent these disorders were and in how many undesirable ways they can impact someone’s health, dental and otherwise, Allison decided to expand her scope of practice by completing post-graduate training in Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy. She attended The Coulson Institute of Orofacial Myology as well as the Academy of Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy (AOMT) studying under accomplished myofunctional therapists including Sandra R Coulson, M.S., S.T., Ed, COM, Joy Moeller, BS, RDH, and Licia Coceani-Paskay, MS, CCC-SLP.
Allison loves working as part of an interdisciplinary team of dedicated professionals to provide quality comprehensive healthcare. She is excited to share her knowledge about OMT to help people of all ages improve their health and quality of life.
