Erin is a licensed speech language pathologist and holds her certificate in clinical competency from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA). She is a certification track candidate in orofacial myology with the International Association of Orofacial Myologist (IAOM).
She has practiced in a variety of settings including early intervention (0-3 years of age), acute care, and rehabilitation hospitals. Her years of experience with pediatric feeding disorders and her own personal experience with a class III malocclusion (you can always ask her about her surgery and treatment experience) uniquely equips her to work compassionately with clients that present with orofacial myofunctional disorders.
Erin specializes in the treatment of articulation/speech sound disorders, childhood apraxia of speech, orofacial myofunctional disorders which include difficulties with feeding, the oral phase of swallowing, thumb/pacifier elimination, open mouth posture, tongue ties, and “ tongue thrust” issues.
