Ann Lalezarian, RDH, MS, IAOM trained in OroFacial Myology, has been practicing as a registered dental hygienist for 27 years. She received her B.S in Dental Hygiene from University of Orebro, Sweden. After moving to the United States, she earned a Dental Hygiene degree from Farmingdale State College, a Bachelor’s degree in Community Health from SUNY at Old Westbury. Her graduate studies at SUNY Stony Brook were in Hospital Administration and Finance. Ann has also earned advanced certificates in both Hospital Administration Management .
Ann has authored and taught courses in Dental Pain Management and International Oral Health at NYU and has been a Adjunct Professor at Farmingdale State College Dental Hygiene department for the past
25 years. Ann has coordinated several Dental missions to Ecuador providing dental care to the underprivileged and underserved . She is a member of the International Association of OroFacial Myology (IAOM), American Dental Hygiene Association (ADHA), the Long Island Dental Hygiene Association (LIDA). Ann’s passion is to provide OroFacial Myofunctional Therapy to Long Island & Manhattan and surrounding communities. Ann and her husband raised their daughter and son on Long Island, New York where she enjoys hiking , cooking entertaining and gardening.
